A professional skin peel is one of the most effective ways to reset your complexion — sweeping away dull, tired surface cells to reveal the fresher, brighter skin beneath.

What are skin peels?

Skin peels use carefully selected medical-grade acids to gently dissolve the bonds between dead, damaged surface skin cells, encouraging them to shed and accelerating cell renewal. As the old layer lifts away, it reveals smoother, more even and luminous skin and prompts the deeper layers to regenerate.

Peels are highly customisable — from gentle, no-downtime ‘glow’ peels to deeper resurfacing treatments. At your consultation we select the right peel strength and formula for your skin type and goals.

What skin peels can treat

  • Dull, lacklustre skin
  • Uneven skin tone & pigmentation
  • Acne & congestion
  • Fine lines & texture
  • Sun damage
  • Enlarged or blocked pores
Glow you can build on

For lasting brightness and the best results on concerns like pigmentation and acne, peels are most effective as a course, supported by the right home skincare.

What does treatment involve?

Consultation & skin analysis

We assess your skin type and concerns to choose the most suitable peel — and prepare your skin if a stronger peel is planned.

Cleanse & prep

Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepped so the peel can work evenly and effectively.

The peel

The solution is applied and left for a carefully timed period. You may feel a mild tingling or warmth, which is completely normal.

Neutralise & protect

The peel is neutralised or removed, and soothing, protective products and SPF are applied to finish.

Aftercare & what to expect

Depending on the peel strength, you may experience mild redness, tightness and light flaking over the following days as the surface skin renews — this is part of the process. Avoid picking, sun exposure, heat and active skincare while your skin recovers, and wear SPF daily.

Skin Peels FAQs

It depends on the peel. Gentle ‘glow’ peels cause little to no visible flaking, while stronger peels may cause light peeling over a few days.
This varies by peel type and your skin goals — many clients have a course spaced a few weeks apart, then occasional maintenance peels.
Yes. Certain peels are excellent for treating active acne, congestion and the marks left behind, as part of a tailored plan.
We usually recommend leaving the skin bare for the rest of the day, with SPF, to let it settle and recover optimally.
